Fire Marshal

Description

The new Fire Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force on 1st October 2006, one of the requirements of this Order was to appoint a person to look after fire and where necessary to act as a fire marshal.

Syllabus:

• Fire risk assessment.
• Fire chemistry.
• Basic fire extinguisher awareness.
• Common fire hazards.
• Fire safety precautions.
• Fire drills and evacuation.
• The role of the fire marshal.
• Fire marshal action on discovering a fire.

Course length: 7 hrs.

Qualification: Fire marshal certificate.

Cost: £60 per person + VAT on open courses.

£60 per person + VAT (min charge of £320 + VAT) for in-house courses
