This epilepsy awareness training course is aimed at those working with or responsible for the well being and welfare of individuals with epilepsy. 

The course is designed to give candidates a greater understanding of epilepsy.  The course provides an insight into the differing types of seizure. It enables the candidate to feel more confident in not only providing physical support but also emotional support. This course is a vital course for any members of care staff working with or responsible for people suffering with epilepsy.

• History of the disease.
• Initial diagnosis.
• Recording of information.
• Different scans.
• Types of seizures.
• Dealing with seizures.
• Triggers of epilepsy.
• Treatment and drugs.

Course length: 3 hrs.

Qualification achieved: Epilepsy awareness.

Cost: £35 per person + VAT on open courses.

£35 per person + VAT (min charge of £280 + VAT) for in-house courses.
